No thanx to my provider who was unwilling or unable to turn on compression for me. Anyways, thanx to a tip I found on the internet I was able to turn on compression anyways for html and php using some php directives. I hope you can tell the difference (for the better – I hope). Unfortunately, similar “tricks” to compress css and javascript just didn’t seem to want to work.
